'To give those living in cities a better chance to enjoy nature and the beauties of the countryside'
Providing a path for everyone to connect with nature.
At Four Winds Trust, we believe that access to green spaces is a fundamental human right. We offer small grants to charities that remove barriers to nature and the countryside.
Our Legacy of Connection
The Four Winds Trust was established by Henry Cadbury in 1943 with a singular vision: ‘to give those living in cities a better chance to enjoy nature and the beauties of the countryside’. Since then we have expanded the cause to include any disadvantaged communities where access to nature, green spaces, and education opportunities about the environment and conservation are limited.
